Big Lake Candle Company is dedicated to premium sustainable candle solutions. We offer Refillable Candles, Refills, Reusable Candles and our amazing Citronella Outdoor Candles season over season. Our candles are made with premium soy and fragrances that use essential oils for clean-burning offering a healthy solution for you, family and friends.
How it Works:
1. Start with your Starter Candle
Choose your fragrance candle. A BL (Big Lake) Candle Scrubby is provided with your first order. This scrubby helps clean your candle when preparing for your candle refill.
2. Cleaning your Glass Candle
Preparing your candle for a refill is easy. Just follow these easy steps and start to burn your new fragrance candle refill.
1. Order your candle refill when your candle is half way completed.
2. When candle wax is approx. 1/4" from the bottom, put in glass candle vessel in the freezer. Recommended 24 hours.
3. Remove the candle from the freezer. Use a knife to crack away the frozen wax starting in the center and continue cutting the wax at the edges. Scope out all candle chunks and throw into the garbage.
4. Wash your glass candle jar with soap and water using your candle scrubby. Remove the label.
3. Inserting your Candle Refill
1. Open your BL candle refill. You may have to "pull" the wicks straight up if they are bent during shipping.
2. Insert the candle by finding the best fitting corner and push the refill into the candle glass vessel. Light and burn for 4 hours.
